Probably why I'm not working a minimum wage job right now. I don't just wait around waiting for life to get better. I make it happen. Isn't that the conservative mantra?
Ok, note to self. Any time you "b*tch" about paying $1,528 a MONTH, $18,366 a year for catastrophic insurance you are told you're whining by someone who is subsidized by their employer and pays $200 a month.

I did find a way out.. I won't pay it and won't be insured. It's pretty damn bad when the people who always paid are pushed out of the market.

But you are whining because you are responsible for your choices. Personally, I love the free market. The free market has given me a great full time job. And my significant other and I are working toward having enough passive income to retire early. It really doesn't matter to us who's in power. We thrive regardless.

Permit me to repeat what conservatives have been saying to poor people for years. You should work harder. The world doesn't owe you anything.

Again with the whining. The past is the past. Whining about it does absolutely nothing, unless you have a working time machine.

Right now, at this moment in time, republicans control all 3 branches of the government. Should be a breeze to repeat the ACA.

Well, the total cost is the total cost, and it is very high. In his case employer is paying large fraction of the cost (be sure that one way or another it is reflected in the overall compensation). Question is what are you complaining about?

If you would like a lower TOTAL cost, I have a suggestion, but you are not going to like it.

Anyone who pays for this is helping to keep it in place.
Then don't. Drop out.

Seems to me like republicans like to whine whine whine regardless of who's in power. Republicans got control of all 3 branches of the government, and they're still whining LOL.

I fully support repealing the ACA, by the way. Kill it ASAP.

I have a friend who just went to the ER recently. He pays over $1000 per month in insurance premiums then had to pay $500 in the ER, then has to pay everything the insurance doesn't pay for the ER vist. There is nothing "affordable" about that.

You have my sympathy. In order to have comparable coverage for my children I'd have to pay about an 80% increase for each policy, which I just can't do. I wonder if our governor thinks I'm just going to suck it up and pay it, as he's depending on these rate increases to make up for the loss of the subsidies. If I drop from a gold plan to a bronze he's out a bunch of money.

I guess he doesn't work for a union then. That's too bad

I think it's foolish, but I can't say that I blame them.
