Fossil fuel runs the world, and we have centuries of supply. Oil, gas, and coal aren't going anywhere, and for a good reason. They are efficient forms of energy, and work well. Almost every product we buy is either transported by fossil fuel, or made from by products of fossil fuel, or both.

He's right. We will never not have a need for oil, gas and coal. Oil is used for much more than just energy. Besides, it would be unwise to trade an economical and reliable source of energy for something more expensive and less reliable.

They do. I never argued they did not.

Unless we find an affordable way to make then synthetically, we really need to work on an alternative. The supply of fossil fuels is NOT infinite. It will run out

No, sorry, I do not work for an oil company, nor any company related to the fossil fuel industry. I just understand reality.
