You guys have schools?

Muslim Students Are Getting Their Hijabs Pulled Off by Teachers in Classrooms Across the Nation
Who cares?

When I was in HS, teachers would physically remove your hat and keep it.

If Muslims want to wear rags on their heads, they can do it on their own time. Organized religion is worthless, and the Muslim religion is by far the worst. They treat women like animals. I have no tolerance for hate groups.

They probably had racial segregation back then, so bad example

No hats means no scarfs either. If you want to wear it than go to a school that will allow it or be home schooled.

Since when are people so ridiculous.

When I was in elementary school I had to bike for 20 min, 4 times a day, except for Wednesday's when it was 2 times.

The school five min away only accepted Catholic kids. My parents didn't protest but just had us attend a school further away that did accept kids if all religions and atheists.

People are whining about everything nowadays. Ridiculous!

Do these schools allow Jewish students to wear a yarmulke?

If these muslim girls want to set themselves apart as "others" by wearing a hijab, that's their business. The other students will know to stay away from them is all. Especially the boys. A burka that covered the face would be a different story though. In our culture there is usually an expectation that one's face is exposed. If a muslim is going to move to America they should be willing to accommodate us at least that far.

It's the same thing and same idea. I would not have been permitted to wear a costume to school or a bucket on my head, even if it wasn't a "hat."

These teacher(s) should be charged with assault. I hope the students press charges. Imagine the outrage here if the teacher ripped off cross necklaces from students.

Keep the OP source in mind. We are discussing something that probably did not even happen. But even if it did, then put me on that jury. Teachers ripped hats off heads all the time when I was in school.
