Probably true. But they are ignorant about our system. We are a republic, not a democracy. Each state votes for President and Vice President. Whoever wins the most states is the winner. There is a reason the Framers created that system, but the Leftists don't care to learn why. The reason is that the President represents the States in international affairs. That's why the States choose, not the nationwide popular vote of the People. They also wanted a system that would not give more weight to areas with the highest populations.
All that counts is that he won the most States, and it was a "landslide."

Many great and widely known voices have tried for decades to awaken the poor white masses but they have such a lust for some fiction of wanting to be "special", until they cannot hear, and the only thing they get is a run down environment, stagnant wages, and cycles of destitution that goes from one generations to the next, and they still refuse to acknowledge they are their own worst enemy.
Over time many white women have long ago seen the craziness, and they are far more likely and of interest to build diversity based relationship, and they are now more comfortable with their choices, because they no longer fear the right wing rabid groups who use to attack them, and denigrate them, because they respected and appreciated diversity. The liberal minded white males, have equally so, awakened and no longer fear the rabid right wing, so they too have become more comfortable with diversity relation and association in their personal and business life.
So there is no way, we are going to sit silent and allow a "false narrative" because suddenly Right Wingers want to again, rely on "Selective Amnesia" an go into some pretense as if they are of some moral standards. When even the fact of this Administration has shown, "moral and integrity based standards" means absolutely nothing to them and their Right Wing Constituency.

((with all its biases, bigotry, racism, aversions against other ethnicities, bias toward gender, and caught up in a spin of religiosity, that is demeaning to the Constitutions premise of Freedom of Religion.

Yes the high density areas. Trump won more counties and more states. Had he not he would not have won.
Trump only won by about 70,000 votes distributed over three states. He lost the popular vote by millions. If the reverse were true and Trump won the popular vote but lost the election, Trump and Trump supporters would never ever ever stop talking about it. To say more populated areas should count less is ridiculous. Let's let those areas pay less in taxes then. Why should they contribute more but have their votes count less? Rural areas receive so much more in federal dollars because they don't have the money to support infrastructure, but their votes count as much as three times as much as an urban vote.
