The problem with HRC is that she defended her "husband" and states she stayed with him after much thought and consideration when in reality the only reason she probably stayed with him was for the political power. They are "stronger together" so to speak. So in reality she most likely overlooked his alleged abuse towards women for her own political advancement. I really do not believe that she actually thought he was innocent as she claimed. She just saw a better path for herself if she stayed with him rather than leave and publicly admit his wrongdoings. all IMO.

She initially denied she was raped or endured any inappropriate behavior.
It was only when she was to be interviewed by the FBI that she stated she was raped, because she was advised rightlfully so that lying to the FBI would be a crime.
