Imagine this scene, which might top the TV ratings: Kim Jong Un and Trump, along with their translators, appear on a showdown TV show, where they trade threats and insults. There would be tens of millions of views of it on YouTube. I was trying to think up some clever thing that would be the prize for the winner. But how could there be a winner, among those two?

Have you noticed that the people closest to Trump have the lowest opinion of him.

Trump is the Gomer Pyle of Presidents.

2020 can't come fast enough.

Of course, since they get first-hand, unobscured impressions of and experience with, not a shrouded view of a guy portraying a leader, which others have a limited view of.

A "Gomer Pyle" type (or a "Forrest Gump") is not a good comparison, being a type that others would have compassion for and a nice person, not capable of the horrendousness this one is. Just lacking in intelligence is one thing, but our fake president possesses far more troubling aspects to disqualify him, besides.

Well, that's not surprising at all. And some think he "must be brilliant", having had money.

Then he always toots his own horn, likely used to doing so since a child. "I have the best words".. dear God. All he ever developed was the pretense of having appeared successful and was so accustomed to hiding behind this persona, that he deluded himself into believing he could keep that going, no matter what.

Poor Donald. It really is pathetic.

Trump is deeply ignorant, all thinking people know this.

Such a dumb electorate we have. No wonder Congress feels they can pick our pockets with impunity. People will project their hopes and dreams on the most unworthy candidate, clearly - and believe anything.

Then 'they' are the real idiots, his "ignorant, blustering, lying, divisive con man" self was on full display for 30+ years showing NO reason to expect he would change.

Nothing funny about this. McMasters' assessment of the Commander in Chief is very disturbing.

Yep. It isn't as if Trump just popped up out of nowhere, he has been around for decades. Decades for people to have been able to watch him and know that he has always been a slum Lord scammer, who revels in the fact that he steps on others to get ahead. A con man, who has all the class of a corner street hustler, and a liar, who, to this day, continues to tell one whopper after another........even when he doesn't have to lie in that situation.

Evidently, his cult were not paying the same attention we were to his life long journey to screw other people , go bankrupt as often most of us change our underwear, and be sued by people he cheated out of their just payments so often that he has a preferred parking spot at the courthouse.

The man is a louse, always has been, always will be.

a multi-billionaire and most powerful man in the world has to expect struggling slobs to denigrate him. It's human nature.
