Frederico Pistono's new book "Robots Will Steal Your Job, But That's OK: How to Survive the Economic Collapse and Be Happy " is an interesting take on technology, automation, AI and jobs...What do you think of the technology fever we are going through???

Without having read the book, I'd say I agree that robots will keep taking more and more of our jobs. Its already happened. This is why we need to reevaluate what economies look like, what working is, etc. I think by the time my grandchildren are in the workforce, the idea of "earning a wage" is going to look very different from what it does today.

Automation will change everything. It will be transformative and will be another example of creative destruction. Destruction, disruption and rebuilding. Interesting times.

I got a bad feeling about where this Artificial intelligence could lead. We maybe unwittingly creating the means of our own demise as a species.

Very correct.

Sooner or later, the robots will become self-aware and kill us all!

Maybe. But in the meantime, people should stop breeding. Your offspring won't be needed for cheap labor in the future, thanks to AI.
