Only 9am here and we already have police called to a local Walmart. What is it about Walmart?

Thats the best entertainment, and just be thankfully you are in the comfort of your own home and not in some miserable overcrowded shopping mall.
That's another strategy I can get behind!

If we did that, there would be no forum.

Not surprised at all. Made the error of going to our Walmart last night for the 6pm start of insanity shopping. How the fire marshall allowed the store to be so packed with people and having multiple isles blocked off severely limiting exit options is beyond me.

If you went in the set of doors by the pharmacy and wanted to walk to the other end of the store to the dairy department you had to go all the way to the main isle in the back of the store which was totally blocked by people/carts/merchandise waiting for the magic hour to hit. If you tried to find any other way you were funneled back towards the front where you had to go through jammed checkout line and exit the store to go in the grocery set of doors and do the fight to the back all over again.

I lasted 15 minutes in there before I decided anything I might save was not worth the B.S. to get it.

One question I've got is since when does Walmart or any store that's not a membership store have the right to stop you and demand to see your receipt before you're allowed to leave?

That doesn't bother me, if it helps them catch some losery thieves by checking receipts, I'm all in.
