But the antigun folks say that mass shootings only happen in America, and would never happen in a country with strict gun control like Egypt....

Egypt doesn't really have strict gun control. Anyone other than felons, under 21, or mentally disturbed people are allowed to get permits to own guns. You really should look things up before typing.

Yep, Trump and his Generals spent a couple billion (and a lot of civilian lives) getting "rid" of them. Problem was, he let many go free.......along with their arms. I think the idea was to make it do they don't hold land.

Now they are free to kill as many people as they like in any ways they like - and we won't know where they are.

The middle east is about to really blow up, especially with Trump making enemies with the Iranians and friends with the Saudis.....

Yes, another Trump lie....about not getting involved in all these foreign adventures and bringing the troops home so they can help with America First - Making America Great Again.

Obama destroyed our relations with Egypt, no wonder this happened.

It's almost impossible to get a gun permit in Egypt unless you're connected.

Of course, as in most countries with strict gun control and plenty of poor people, illegal guns are readily available.

Most of the illegal guns in Egypt come from Libya.

Yes, he is so great that he waved his hand and created the Muslim Brotherhood.

He also developed a time machine - back to GW:

n the 2005 parliamentary elections, the Brotherhood became "in effect, the first opposition party of Egypt's modern era". Despite electoral irregularities, including the arrest of hundreds of Brotherhood members, and having to run its candidates as independents (the party being technically illegal), the Brotherhood won 88 seats (20% of the total) compared to 14 seats for the legal opposition.[84]

Not a word about Obama - lots of words about this Morsi guy that the people revolted against. We should do similar against the illegal present admin here:

"By April 2013, Egypt had "become increasingly divided" between President Mohamed Morsi and "Islamist allies" and an opposition of "moderate Muslims, Christians and liberals". Opponents accused "Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood of seeking to monopolize power, while Morsi's allies say the opposition is trying to destabilize the country to derail the elected leadership". Adding to the unrest were severe fuel shortages and electricity outages, which raised suspicions among some Egyptians that the end of gas and electricity shortages since the ouster of President Mohamed Morsi was evidence of a conspiracy to undermine him, although other Egyptians say it was evidence of Morsi's mismanagement of the economy.
On 3 July 2013, Mohamed Morsi was removed from office and put into house arrest by the military,[ that happened shortly after a popular uprising of tens of millions of Egyptians began"

Really frightening, I would think the mosque had a security detail, but I guess not.

We were in the Middle East long before Dubya and either president that followed him has the authority to bring the troops home but hasn't.

I don't think it matters who our president is, they seem bound and determined to kill each other.
