I can`t picture Gore ignoring the findings of Hans Blix and his team of UN weapons inspectors who found nothing that was a threat to Iraq`s neighbor, let alone the U.S.

100% it would have. Gore had been pounding the war drums for 10 years. My favorite was when Gore called GHW Bush "soft on terror" for not continuing on to Baghdad in the 1st gulf war.

Would the Iraq War have happened under a Gore presidency?
Regime change maybe, but an all out invasion and occupation by US troops, while dismantling Iraqi army? No way.

Nope. Not a chance.
Two fail wars that cost us big time. Bush2 wanted to finish what his father failed to do on the first war. So fake WMD's and war for oil. We broke Iraq and sure paid the price to try and fix it.

The WORST part of all this is that it was entirely preventable. Cheney (SoS) for Bush1 knew what would happen and said as much in the interview below.

So why go ahead 7 years later with what you know is a bad idea and will cause more issues than it solves ? Oil ? Revenge ? Some Social Agenda ? Who knows but clearly this SOB knew what he was doing.

Hook mouth Cheney made a killing on the war with his comps. All three of them, Bush2, Rumpsfeld and Cheney were a total joke.

Pure speculation, who knows? We are thankful that Gore did not win.

I can ..... Clinton and Gore were very good at ignoring things when it suited them.

The answer to your question is No.
1. He would not be settling a score for his Daddy.
