PC is the current religion and people need religion. What can replace it?
You have a good point. In the history of civilization, has any society ever been godless and successful? While we are not completely without religion, western society (North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand) are at its lowest levels of followers of religions. Not surprisingly, PC culture is most thriving in those very countries among the very groups that renounce religion. Correlation?

We are definitely going in unchartered territory.
P.C. culture is still an easy punching bag I see. I don't know why people continue to beat up this Steadman when it is one. Many issues today aren't actually P.C. culture based, yet it don't stop it. This and a few other posts on this thread are perfect examples. The decreased importance on religion in society especially the U.S. has little link to P.C. other than correlation.
I wouldn't say it is a cause and effect between the two despite them going on at the same time. This is a logical fallacy called correlation = causation. Basically because two acts are linked, people think there is casual relationship where one causes another rather than being two independent events. Can anyone even show how loss of religion ans P.C. culture is linked, let alone which one causes the other.
Also I wouldn't say we are anti-religious. We just aren't religion on our selves like we use to. Religion is still here, the issue is many aren't religious because of abuse of religious organizations. I mean many Catholics including myself are non-practicing due to the rape controversy covered in the movie Spotlight. Others are against organized religion based on the way pasters treat sins as truly evil and not with forgiveness like the Good Book says.
I can't speak for other religions because honestly, I just don't know enough, but these issues in Christianity are real and none deal with P.C. culture and there is no real link to it other than religious conservative talking points.
The Prince was a white cis male. Obviously he assaulted her!
