But if you are trying to say that Obama somehow was causal to that debt, you really don't know what you are talking about. Obama inherited an economy free-fall. At the time unemployment was about 9.5% and the CBO projected a $1.2 trillion deficit for 2009, two weeks BEFORE he took office.
Revenue fell and that was the cause of the added debt. So, in the face of a near depression, should the Democrats have raised taxes or cut government programs, just as Americans needed those programs the most?
Now isn't 2009. Obama handed Trump a fine economy and there is no reason to add even more to the debt than is already projected. Moreover, there is no reason to add even more to the debt to just hand the borrowed money to rich people.

Fed spending ALSO went up which added to the debt.
The so-called Stimulus Bill was about $8 billion.
A LOT of the money went to fed agencies.
reid did NOT do a budget because he knew the new stimulus money going to agencies would be eliminated.
Instead reconciliation KEPT the added money going to the agencies.
Some agencies get an automatic 3% increase every year.
When you add the stimulus money their budgets INCREASED EVER year MORE then if they had done a real budget.
The ACA was debated, they had hearings and invited experts in the field, the GOP had amendments and then they refused to vote. They actually received a document to read months in advance. The comment you make is tiresome, tax reform in a country with the largest GDP and congress received markup copies hours in advance. Asking for 2 days to read through a bill of this impact should not be a partisan issue but of course "its the dems".
You are dismissing George Bush's participation in the debt increase and yes debt is a problem. I love this new tact for excusing increasing the debt, where was this back in 2012? I never, ever want to hear a complaint from the Tea Party over debt increases, they no longer matter.

You were claiming that the debt was entirely Obama's problem for his 8 years, he was handed an economy that was losing almost a million jobs a month along with thousands of foreclosures. You don't turn that around over night same for the great depression, but I know you like to cast blame.

Any pro family tax credits are temporary. Senior additional exemption is out so anyone over 65 who pays taxes is a wash with the exemption reduction.
Estate tax repeal without repealing the step up basis is a give away only to the top .5% If the idea is to keep the family farm then there would be no problem for the heirs if the land is not sold.
