Yup, the only way we will ever improve our lives is by giving the federal government half of all our wealth and income each year. Cuz those corruptocrats know better than any head of household, how to make ends meet, and any politician who has been in Congress all their life, and never met a payroll or turned a profitable business, knows better how to spend a business owners profits then they do themselves.

All whorship the holy guber'mint.

Taxes will go down every year, but in 2027, taxes will start to go back up.

I think a 10 year tax cut for people earning less then 75,000 a year is a GREAT idea.

I think everyone who thinks taxes are a good idea should have to pay more of them.

Exactly, Wapasha.....but that doesn't mean the mainstream media and those intent on wringing their hands won't get upset about something that may or may not happen in the future.

It seems some posters here are probably paid to post hyperbole or lies about every Trump or Republican politicians' comment or perhaps these folks just enjoy being constantly overwrought.

You won't see it because it isn't there. Social Security will never be touched because it would be political suicide. That is something the liberals that live in fantasy land just can't seem to comprehend.

You can't find something wrong with everything, and that's just what the liberals do. They have lost all credibility and continue to make themselves look foolish on a daily basis.

In the OP, it is mentioned that the R's know that this will increase the deficit, so at a later date, they will balance the budget by SS&Medicare cuts
Where have you been?

Anyone half informed, has known for years that SS and Medicare are unsustainable and will cease to exist in a decade or two. We need a different system to replace both of these with.

Tick-tock, time is running out. When do you think Congress should plan on doing something about this inevitability?

SS and Medicare are like a boat that is leaking badly and is projected to sink, and all you want to do is bail out the water as it sinks. How about we fix the boat, or better yet, build a new boat?

John McCain likely will not be around much longer to deal with the outcome of this dog of a tax bill. Meanwhile both personally and his estate (should worse come to worse) will benefit immensely from certain provisions in this tax code rewrite.

Only saving grace would be if he did last until 2020 and go for another re-election bid. Would love for someone, anyone GOP or DNC to finally give Senator McCain the push.

It's it funny, liberals try to raise taxes all the time, Trump does it (supposedly) and they whine about it.

He was in a wheelchair this week. How long has he been using a wheelchair?

500-900 is wonderful for me..

sorry that you are so greedy that you want so much more bigger of a refund

900 is still 1% of 90,000

I actually gain over 3k with the credits, once the credits expire, the gain is like his...still less in taxes...even with the sunset...as is for 95% of the middleclass...

I take a 1% decrease as opposed to the constant increase the fascist liberals want to throw on us middleclass
