One of the best indicators that America in healing is the presence of angry liberal senators.

So if the senators representing over half of the country are angry, the minority is healing? IMO the country will heal when it breaks apart through Balkanization. If blue states are going to pay taxes, they may as well have a say in where the taxes go. I'm guessing farm subsidies and Disability in coal country remains? Let red states pay for that.
Unfortunately, this is what happens. The GOP passes all types of damaging legislation when they’re in power. The voters revolt and elect democrats. All the consequences of the GOP’s deranged legislation takes effect while democrats are in power. The GOP then runs on a platform of how the dems have destroyed America.
