Source. I was eng support on a contract at a bakery building a 1.3 meter cookie line. I saw the job opening rates. After work, my wife said I smelled delicious. LOL.
They closed the union bakery near me and shipped the work to Mexico.

A year later, they re-opened the previous factory using *cheaper* (mostly illegal) workers and definitely non-union.

Need somewhat local production for things like buns.

But don't worry, a lot of that business IS moving to NW Indiana due to various economic issues.

I'm guessing the bakery in Chicago wasn't interested in union wages.

Hence, 800 illegals.

All of the corporations are run by rich people. Who give large donations to both parties.

Careful now, you aren't actually complaining about all of the illegal on-shoring by US corporations are you? People will start calling you a racist trumpee.

Nope. Wrong. That's not how it works in the free market. If they can't get people then supply/demand states that the job should pay more than what they are paying. Corporate America is trying to work the system.

You don't get to skirt the system by hiring illegals, that means you're trying to undercut wages.

As I said the scam artist liars like Obama should be the ones complaining about all of this but he doesn't say a word. It directly effects working class people. I wager there's lots of black people that would want the jobs.

This is corporate America nonsense in inner cities that the Democrats let go on. Yet the fools in those cities keep voting for Democrats like corporate Shillary over and over again. The owner of the bakery probably donated money to corporate Shillary's campaign.

The problem is that voters are stuck having to choose between the corporation party.....or the other corporation party.

Saying "vote for the other guys" isn't exactly a solution.

Good, now they can outreach to under-employed communities in Chicago for workers. After all, that is one of the complaints I hear, lack of employment opportunities? That then causes poverty thus crime?

It’s quite evident that most of you didn’t read the article. It said that the bakery got all of its employees through a staffing agency and. They didn’t verify anyone’s credentials because the staffing agency was tasked to do so. The bakery was rated and those who did not have appropriate documentation were taken away. That does not necessarily mean that they were illegal. I have the employees been direct hires, the bakery would’ve had their documents on file.

Of course, it’s easier to imagine that this factory just hired illegals because they work cheap. More than likely, they were paying a fair wage through the staffing agency.

Now you realized why Trump beat the establishment of both parties and the yakity *** MSM that promotes them.
