I do hope they put the deadbeat in jail for a lot longer than 2 years, I wonder if he is just trying to get time served when he is eventually sentenced.
I'm glad they've been in jail all this time. They felt they were above the law.
Here's to hoping they're found guilty in court and spend a lot of time in prison.

So both of you would be just fine with federal agents coming along and threatening you and shaking you down for money? And you'd gleefully pay and obey their stipulations they placed on your land?
Interesting.
Bundys character is irrelevant here. It could have been Mother Theresea utilising the land as a mobile home park, rent free for the homeless, or Clive Bundy operating a multi generational ranch. Does one get a pass and not the other? No.
The fact the federal government controls land and utilises that land as a source of revenue is why we had 1776 or did you forget no taxation without representation? Or does the “equal footing” doctrine, not matter?

It wasn’t his land, it was federal land he usurped for his own use.
Interesting that right wingers support a bunch of white men that actually threatened law enforcement officers with loaded guns and deadly force but when it is a black child armed with nothing they are suddenly pro-government all the way.
I hope you get held without bail for 2 years, while the prosecution builds a case to have kidnapped you in the first place. You too will come to hate Marxism.
Nothing Marxist about it but by all means continue to use terms you know nothing about.

Two Points, it was not His land and he agreed to pay a lease to graze his cattle then stopped paying and when told to remove he cattle he refused. There is no Constitutional issue here and there will be no revolution over this nonsense. Support the Deadbeat if you wish, life is full of choices.
If any rancher who lives near federal land that was not a refuge, was allowed to let their cattle or horses or goats or sheep graze on it, wouldn't it save the federal government some money in land upkeep as long as the feds didn't have to do anything? Not a rancher or land owner so I don't have any insight into what it costs the feds to maintain the land so it's a real question.
What goes on with this topic every time is Bundy refused to be double taxed on land he had rights to.
I see your point. The solution is to sell the federal land especially with ranchers like Bundy who who would buy it if they could. There is no good reason the feds own 87% of Nevada. The whole endangered turquoise or spotted owl scam has to be ended.
