It was nationwide.

It sure is a wonderful thing that good states like North Dakota, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas are in the beginnings of another oil boom as President Trump wants good American oil drilled from American workers to be powering the economy.

WTF???!!!!!!! Talk about completely clueless and out of touch!!!!

More oil is coming from the ground now because OIL PRICE JUMPED!!!! Let me repeat, GAS IS MORE EXPENSIVE! When Obama was president, a barrel dropped to around $40; now it is almost $60!! The higher the price, the more oil fields will rush to produce oil.

High oil prices is bad for the average citizen. Yes, good for oilmen in North Dakota and Texas; but BAD for everyone else. Gas is more expensive, airfare more expensive, etc, etc.

So when you say it's good that more barrels are coming from the ground, that's like someone cheering that rent is going through the roof!!!! Yes, it's good for a few limited people; but everyone else is screwed!!!

The low cost of oil during the Obama Admin were because of many factors. In the early years the economy is in the tank and then as it was recovering US oil producers were ramping up production and OPEC kept on pumping it....

If US producers are pumping more oil that means it is in demand. Why is it in demand? A better economy and OPEC has cut production. Certainly you would agree a good economy benefits everyone and OPEC producing less because of pressure from US producers is also a good thing even if the gas prices go up.

These prices will settle at what the market will bear and you should have a far less volatile market, e.g. you wont wake up tomorrow and find the cost of gas just doubled.

Last but not least if US producers are making a mint fantastic becsue I'd rather be putting money into their pockets than into the pocket of some foreign nation.

Not necessarily. Between 1971 and 2010 US oil production fell quite dramatically even though consumption went up. It wasn't until fracking technology was perfected that they were able to tap oil they previously couldn't tap. THAT is why US production went up, not because of increased demand.

Liberals and Environmentalists like to dream about a middle-American economic collapse because they voted for President Trump. I wonder how many big, big liberal cities have 1.9% unemployment rate like Williston, ND does right now

Except perhaps for Texas, nobody welcomes the idea of moving to those states no matter how good the jobs are. Most new oil jobs will be filled by Oklahomans looking for better paying jobs. Some of them are in low paying state jobs, such as prison guards.

By the way, if more oil and Trump's policies are supposed to be good for a state's economy, then please tell me why the hell have Republicans in Oklahoma been trying to hike taxes? Would you love to pay 6 cents more tax per gallon of gas?
