Dershowitz seems to have some sort of relationship with Trump, even if a casual one. And Dershowitz knows that prosecutors get defendants to plea to lesser crimes all the time so they will flip and provide testimony on other targets higher up in the investigation they are seeking information on.

Dershowitz also knows that when a defendant owns up to a crime they can still be credible to a judge and jury.

Dershowitz also forgets mention that Congress can define whatever they want as an impeachable offense and there doesn't even need to be a crime committed.

If Dershowitz is so sure about this case, how come he isn't on Trump's defense team?

I guess those stories about how to communicate with POTUS are true. Talk to him through the TV screen. Wonder if POTUS talks back to the screen.

Be serious. Dershowitz is looking for an easy way to make some serious $$$s. And a LOT of them. Nothing else. He doesn't care if Trump is guilty or innocent. He just sees a way to make a pile. Hugely.

He might initially work for Trump, wouldn't doubt it a bit. Be aware though that HIS contract with Trump would be ABSOLUTELY UNBREAKABLE. Win or lose he gets his big time.

Dershowitz might be smart but he has also been a shill for OJ and he is being a shill for Trump
That is the mark of a great attorney--s/he can argue effectively even for those he hates---

https://www.mediaite.com/tv/what-an-...er-trump-case/

All he had to do was tell Ari "No"--he took no money from the WH and he couldn't--
Two reasons--
He did and thus Trump is his client
An attorney can't roll over on his client

This hadn’t occurred to me:

Was Michael Flynn asked to wear a wire in Mueller hunt for evidence on Russia?

Quote:
Section eight of the deal reached by Donald Trump’s former national security adviser in the inquiry into Russian meddling in the US election is entitled “cooperation”. It specifies that as well as answering questions and submitting to government-administered polygraph tests, Flynn’s cooperation “may include … participating in covert law enforcement activities”.

Long-time students of federal law enforcement practices agreed, speaking anonymously, that “covert law enforcement activities” likely refers to the possibility of wearing a concealed wire or recording telephone conversations with other potential suspects. It is not known whether Flynn has worn a wire at any time.

Just saw an interesting and ultimately sad profile of Mike Flynn on MSNBC--
Initial part about Flynn's early life and Army rise was very positive of his drive, skill and intelligence---multiple complements about his personal shaping of Army Intelligence in early days of Iraq/Afghan War

Then for variety of reason including Flynn's belief in the conspiracy side of Muslim terrorism--he just went overboard into obsession--and apparently a rabid hatred of HRC even though she was very supportive and appreciative of his work with JSOCs and Gen McKrystal...

I thought it was very fair in its praise for Flynn's ability to improve the Army's Intel resources

I find it ironic that apparently anyone dealing with Flynn kind of forgot that--
Covert law enforcement activities--
That was what Flynn taught the Army to sniff out in Iraq and Afghanistan for a decade

That show also included a time line --
Sally Yates KNEW about Flynn lying to the FBI--
She may not have revealed that in her Congressional testimony but knowing when the FBI initially went to Flynn--right after the inaugaration after a series of 5 phone calls Flynn had with Kislyak--he lied then and he might have tried to lie to Mueller after his investigation started...
So I imagine that Sally Yates told Don McGann when she went to the WH
And Don McGann revealed that to Trump--
That is one way Trump KNEW that Flynn had lied to the FBI and committed a felony before he fired him for lying to Pence...
That and the fact that Flynn told Trump what he discussed with Kislyak and with the FBI--
So Trump knew first hand that Flynn lied about the conversations about sanctions...

And Dowd did not send that tweet Trump sent re firing Flynn--
Twitter can validate the phone that sent the tweet by checking the IP address
Supoena the record...

I think Graham can see Trump's useful idiot phase is about to come to a close
Once he signs the tax bill the GOP can kick him to the curb
