They were against bailing out the failed banks. You note that isn't even Capitalism but since they were against that they are anti-capitalists?
Bailing out the banks was a huge Socialist program you Socialist.
Yes, when GW Bush (R), Ben Bernanke (R), Treas Sec Paulson (R) set about bailing out the banks it was a purely socialist move. Brilliant deduction and so obvious. It was so clearly a redistribution of wealth to the needy.

Ahahahahaha
As was Q.E. that followed. Both were huge Socialists programs and yet those who condemned those programs were labeled as socialists.

I say they were anti-capitalists because of every interview I saw of them they were talking about how bad capitalism is. Maybe that was towards the end when the precursor to Antifa took over the movement. I recall they were camping out on bank executives’ front lawns of their homes, and protesting at ports. Why do that if all they were against was the bailouts? They sure reminded me of communists, and many of their tactics were scary.

They were speaking about what we pass off as Capitalism.

We should have pulled many of the bankers out of their homes and tarred and feathered them. They were actually quite restrained.
Populism isn't exclusive to a political ideology. Populists can be right-wing like Trump and his supporters as well as the TEA Party or left-wing with Occupy or even Sanders.
