Pelosi and Schumer lost big, as they will this time over National Security.

Trumps legal issues wont go away if he resigns. Pence can't pardon until he's charged (& convicted?), and there are so many fed and state and city cases pending. The Presidency somewhat protects him so far.

No, it demonstrates how low we've gone as a country with the current President. I am channeling trump. Your issue should be with him and not me. I never supported the sexual predator that made lewd comments about his own daughter. He is a disgusting person. Although M Obama says we should go high when they go low, sometimes I just say F that, I'm going just as low. Cheers.

So are you people better than Donald Trump, or not? You don’t get to malign the President, turn around and behave just as boorishly, and then call yourselves better people. These are lessons that most of us learn at a young age, but for Trump detractors, it seems to have become a pass for their own shenanigans.

.....it’s a free country and all. Deal with it, especially considering the low standards set by “the president” from day one.

Are we not still doing the whole anti-pc shtick? Or does that only apply to the right’s pet topics?

LAWL

1 year since this topic was opened with dire prediction of Trump resigning.

Trump is still here.

NPCs still walking back & forth with the same dire predictions of resigning for Trump 1+ year later.

Trump still winning.

Trump is doing his best to convince Mueller, Pelosi, Schiff, etc. that if he is forced out, his base will revolt.

Republicans will do their best to convince Americans that it would be best all the way around, national unity, stability and all you know, if Trump is allowed to resign and all the investigations are just dropped.

I think we've passed the point where this will work. Maybe this would have worked a year ago, but not now.

I'm not saying that Trump supporters won't take to the streets -- surrounded by those who believe in the rule of law laughing and pointing at them for being fools.

Our nation will make it through this, but we have to do by the rule of law.

Letting Trump slide will just set us up to go through this all over again.

Pence can't pardon non-federal charges, but he can pardon for federal even before Trump is convicted or even tried.

Ford pardoned Nixon for any and all crimes and he hadn't been even charged.

Let's meet back here in a year and see how the presidency is doing then. You are in denial if you think he's still winning.
