“If there is a tit-for-tat escalation Trump will have difficulty improving relations with Russia, which has just thrown U.S.A. election to him." - K.T. McFarland (in email forwarded to National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, future Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, future senior strategist Stephen Bannon, and future press secretary Sean Spicer)
The selective quoting and paraphrasing is ridiculous and shameless. Here's a bit more context, from the very same article:
Quote:
According to The Hill, McFarland was complaining about Russian sanctions imposed by then-President Barack Obama in retaliation for efforts to meddle in the 2016 election.
The sanctions, McFarland wrote, will make it more difficult for Trump to establish good relations with Russia, “which has just thrown the U.S.A. election to him.”
So what he really said is that Obama's sanctions are what threw trump the election.
Here's some more selective quoting for you:
According to Obama, "Trump" "is the greatest" "president" "of all" "time".
Trump will have a hard time explaining his tweet today admitting he knew about Flynn's lying to the FBI before firing comey.
The delusional democrats are the ones having a hard time. All the King’s horses and all the King’s men can’t put Hillary together again....
