I don’t pretend to know a whole lot about Chad, but kicking us out seems like it would be cutting off their nose to spite their face. We are only there to fight terrorists, and I think the government of Chad likely has more to lose by “kicking us out” than we do.

Yes. We have people there. That part isn't false. We seem to think we can do whatever we want anywhere in the world but if somewhere else wants to act the same it's an act of war.
We defend the government even though they are lying to us. (And we know it but don't care because our 401k is doing good)

Personally, I think if any of those countries put a travel ban on us, they would be doing us a favor.
There are always stories about some dumbass American traveling to someplace they have no business being, and getting into trouble there.
I certainly wouldn’t refer to our military as “dumbass Americans”, but yeah, them too.
