The travel ban addresses the risk of an attack perpetrated by travelers from these countries. However, you should also keep in mind that an attack on Americans, anywhere in the world, is an attack on our country. We don't have to be hit here at home to be attacked. So here is a link to a brief history of Iranian attacks on our country.

The embassy attacks in North Africa in 1998 were linked to Egypt and Azerbaijan, they are not on the list. How about Pakistan that harbored Osama and other terrorists.

There is no factual recommendation from intelligence organizations, Trump didn't even consult Homeland. This is just pure politics, a travel ban should be based on a imminent threat not just some contrived campaign promise.

So, why do you have a problem with what trump has suggested? Other than you hate trump?

I read the first 7 pages and found nothing but comments celebrating Trump “winning” and/or the Libs/9th Circuit judges “losing”. Not a single post on the substance of the case, the effect of the interim order, or an explanation as to why this is actually good for the US.

I’m for policies that are good for the US no matter who promulgated them. I’m not interested in who wins or loses.

The title should have been changed--it is not accurate
I don't care how much they wish it was...

You are correct
In fact the reason Chad was on the list was because the Govt ran out of the special paper required to be used to process documents
Not because of the threat from ISIS sneaking into the US

I just believe it’s contrived and won’t make anyone safer.

I thought we were in dire danger and needed that Muslim travel ban immediately to keep us safe.

What happened to that?

How many Muslims are there in North Korea and Venezuela?
