They already can question anything they want, don't have a problem with that, but what agency will oversee DOJ & FBI? This makes me wonder if this is how they can justify this secret agency.

Why does the right not understand that people need to speak with anonymity? It’s as if your first exposure to journalism came at the beginning of the Trump campaign.
Your reference to journalism wrongly pre-supposes that Trump supporters have some respect for the Frist Amendment.
They hate anonymity of any critic! They want to be able to wreak vengeance. Did you hear about the way they crafted a tweet to journalist Kurt Eichenwald (whom they already targeted for being Jewish), to trigger an epileptic seizure?
The article says that Trump wants to hire private spy contractors who would share the information with Trump and Pompeo, but not the rest of the CIA or intelligence community. The deep state is not a thing. Trump already has private security forces, now he wants private intelligence. Why does he want, so badly, to be a third-world dictator?
This is how Wikipedia defines a deep state:
State within a state is a political situation in a country when an internal organ ("deep state"), such as the armed forces and civilian authorities (intelligence agencies, police, secret police, administrative agencies and branches of government bureaucracy), does not respond to the civilian political leadership. Although the state within a state can be conspiratorial in nature, the deep state can also take the form of entrenched unelected career civil servants acting in a non-conspiratorial manner, to further their own interests (e.g. continuity of the state as distinct from the administration, job security, enhanced power and authority, pursuit of ideological goals and objectives, and the general growth of their agency) and in opposition to the policies of elected officials, by obstructing, resisting, and subverting the policies and directives of elected officials.
The bolded portions are exactly what bureaucrats have been doing with trump.

Just curious, was it only a 'shallow state' during the Obama administration?
