My mother is 100% Jewish, my father is 100% Italian. Would you put the hyphen in or pick and choose? I have friend running for President, his mother is 100% Japanese, father is 100% Russian. He's concerned also what label they're going to throw at him, or put the hyphen in? I have yet another friend running for President, his mother is 100% Mexican, father is 100% Polish, and he is concerned, as well, are they going to make Pole jokes about him? And yet I know another man who's running for President, his mother is 100% white and father is 100% black. But for some unexplainable reason, they have chosen to label him black. But I already know the future scenario for this man. When he doesn't deliver on his lofty dreams and hopes and promises for change, after his first 100 days in office, they'll start calling him bi-racial. And then after a year of waiting, and no delivery, they'll start calling him white trash.
Most would call you a mixed breed bas***d. BTW - as mother and father are all "pure breed" how did you wind up a full citizen? In any case if you were running for president I would call you a crazy egomaniac.

I would say there is a strong likelihood that your father is an "Italian-American businessman" with interests in waste disposal, vending machines, and construction.
An Italian guy with a thing for Jewish ladies is more of a sure sign that he's an "Italian-American businessman" than a body in the trunk.

I'm running for President, what would you label me?
To answer that question I'd say a glutton for punishment and someone who is (justified or not) confident their skeletons will remain safely in the closet.
