2 weeks of hard hunting man! My buddies got out here 11/1 and man did they get greeted with a Montana January! It snowed for 5 days, sub-zero temps and WIND, lol. They were like "HOLY CRAP THIS IS COLD!"

We head out to AZ to hunt in Jan. Not going to be that cold, but still cold for us wussy beach types. The funny thing is, for CA and AZ we can hunt deer 6 months of the year. AZ has big mulies but S Cal got itty bitty desert ones..
Man the only time I eat beef is if we go out to dinner. Same with poultry. Me and my buddy from Billings took two of my friends from West Virginia out this year. We got on some dandy mule deer!

I love tracking a blood trail in the snow!!
Around here 1/2 the fall leaves on the ground are red tinted and makes tracking a pain. I have had to put the dog on 2 trails this year.
