Long ago Israel conceded the territory in the Gaza Strip, to try to get the terrorists to stop attacking them.

From that day forward, the terrorists have used the Gaza Strip to fire rockets into Israel's civilian areas, killing men, women, and children on an almost daily basis.

Now it sounds like the terrorists have managed to damage some of the infrastrucure that sends them electrical power.

Funniest part of the incident, is where the Israelis say they're not going to fix it "until the situation is calm". That's a hoot - the situation hasn't been "calm" since the day the terrorists move into their new area in Gaza. Hopefully the Israelis will keep this promise.

Gaza rocket damages Palestinian power supply

One of the rockets fired by terrorist groups from Gaza at southern Israel struck equipment that provides electricity to the southern Gaza Strip, a spokesperson for Israel’s Electric Company says.

The damage is preventing the flow of electricity to the beleaguered coastal enclave.

The electric company says the repairs are expected to take several days.

Energy Minister Yuval Steinitz orders the company to hold off repair work until the situation is calm in order to “not endanger its workers.”

Why should Israel pay for it to be fixed at all? The Arabs fired the mortar & the Arabs mortar landed on a structure that supplies to that part of Gaza through electrical lines. They want electricity? Repay Israel the $4+ Million it just spent today defending itself. If any other nation on the planet were attacked with 80+ rockets in one day, there is no doubt that those countries would have had a exceedingly more of a response than Israel has done today.

Hamas rockets attacks on Israel escalate conflict - Business Insider

Obviously some of Hamas's rockets are hitting Gaza rather than Israeli targets. So Hamas needs to step up and fix its own electricity plant.

No, the MSM feed being used is using Arabic MSM news feeds. Since these Arabs don't recognize Israels existence they are reporting them as Gaza Strip Jewish settlements. There are no Jews in the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian resistance continued on Tuesday evening to bombard Gaza Strip settlements with rocket-propelled grenades in retaliation for the Israeli aggression on Gaza, while the occupation responded by bombing positions of the resistance.

Which might be reasonable if Israel wasn't making it virtually impossible for them to earn money.

Earn money? The Gaza Strip is a Black Market economy. They live off the welfare of other nations and steal from Egypt in order to resell items. The want a real economy then create one.

How? Israel basically blockades them from doing so. You do know WHY they have a black market economy....right? Real economys require you to actually be able to trade with folks, etc.

By their own actions. When the Arabs decide to join the civilized world and behave responsibly, their lot in life will improve immeasurably.
