Apparently, this was taken to be "remarking on [her] body" and was highly offensive and sexist She made a follow-on comment that her husband would never receive such a comment if he was out with the kids and looked tired and even acknowledged that the cafe worker's tone was one of concern.

While I hope most sane people will see the lunacy in this woman's reaction, sadly her reaction is symptomatic of how many on the left feel and think today; her post was "liked" by numerous fellow leftists. When it comes to the point where you as a male cannot make a comment as simple and harmless as "you look tired" to someone who does look tired without being accused of sexism and body shaming, we've officially fallen off the deep end.

As I've mentioned before, I have no problem with the leftists and liberals of the old days. This new breed of constantly offended, Social Justice Warriors, however, are beyond redemption.
Some people see fit to politicize everything. Some people are just more sensitive BY NATURE and temperment than others? Why you think her reaction labels her a”leftist” says more about you than her.

I can get that she can be tired of hearing how tired she looks, but to make it a case of sexism is a bit ridiculous.

She's a story as yet unsupported by anything factual.

OP:

Please provide evidence based on something other than your groundless opinions that the annoyed person in question is "on the left" and somehow represents "left-wing views." Otherwise, this comes across as yet another right-wing whiner post on a right-wing forum where some random person is held up as a strawman of "the left" with no evidence to support that position.

Newsflash: being easily irritated is not a hallmark of "the left," or have you never experienced what happens if you talk about religion, politics, sports, guns, government, or practically everything else with the stereotypical grumpy right-winger who has an opinion on everything and facts on nothing.

It's not. It's just another strawman post from a right-winger about "the left" where they define some nonsense as "the left" and then "prove" it's bad.

Everything bad, everywhere is "of the left" if you believe these people. In their minds, the world works as follows:

Somebody cut me off in traffic today and he didn't have a bumper sticker praising Trump, so clearly he's "a leftist radical" and "all leftists are into cutting people off in traffic." If he DID have a Trump bumper sticker, than he would be a "leftist trying to hide his evil communist ways behind a false pretense of loving Trump." He couldn't possibly be a jerk who's also on the far-right because we're to believe those don't exist.

Then, I went to the store and the young woman cashier seemed tired and grumpy. Surely, that can't because of long hours, no benefits, and horrible pay. No, no - she's young, so she's clearly "a radical leftist communist" and "all leftists are grumpy and tired."

It's utter drivel, but if they deleted all the right-wing, trolling, ignorant strawman threads around here, half of this board's traffic would disappear.

I don't know if this is a Left or Right issue but I do know that people are much more sensitive then they used to be.

Humor is dead.

She has a weak husband, that is why she is angry at the world. I guarantee you she rules that roost and it makes her miserable.

Right. We're all like that, it's one of rules in the manual we get when we sign up.

OP, there is something wrong with your logic engine. I'd be concerned about that if I were you, because if it can be so defective on such a trivial issue, who knows where else it is leading you astray?
