That would suck. I just put in a full week's worth of work to pay taxes so that could happen.

The kids are small. There are bigger targets to go after. Your work will pay off. Don't quit your job over this. The little terrorists should avoid kicking unexploded ordnance on the soccer field of battle.

Would care to toss in some more ignorance there?

Obama didn't "create" ISIS, and Trump probably couldn't even find them on a map, much less "destroy" them.

Didn't we declare "mission accomplish!" some years ago, under Bush, and then the terrorists just changed their name and brand, moved a nation or two over, and kept on rolling?

The war against those terrorists clowns has been ranging since about 2001 or 2002, and all the presidents have kept the pressure up on them - Bush, Obama, and even Trump. But to try to give Trump credit for this is one of the most intellectually dishonest attempts at partisan "right-washing" of history I've seen to date around here.

I think we can also add underestimating them.
We pulled troops out because that was the treaty at the time with Iraqi - it wasn't some "liberal peace-lover thing." Had he not done so, we'd have listened to 8 years of right-wingers screaming how "Obama is a tyrant who doesn't respect treaties or international law!"

As for Syria, it is generally US policy since the disaster in Vietnam and the unending and still not yet won war in Korea not to interfere in civil wars if no US interests are at stake. We don't always follow that rule - such as the mess Bush and buddies created in Iraq - but it is generally a good rule to follow unless you want the US military bogged down in dozens of unwinnable civil wars the world over. This time, yes, the terrorists gained a large foothold, but those things happen unexpectedly from time to time.

Finally, specifically counting ISIS soldiers when Obama took over is meaningless because they are just one of several terrorist groups over there. If we're going to blame Obama for a huge increase in the number of terrorists sporting the ISIS brand, shouldn't we also give him credit for vastly reducing the power of Al Qaeda and the Taliban? They are all just different brands of scumballs, and terrorist soldiers over there looking to kill don't care which brand they are wearing.

So your argument is that the war in Iraq has increased us security?
Reality disagrees.

Its all about Rules of Engagement. If I remember correctly, Trump relaxed Obama's Rules of engagement. Obama's rules of engagement hindered our military, slowed decision making.

No link. Apparently its not that big of news. It was mentioned on cable. At one time Iraq was a big story.

Iraq says they have control of their border with Syria too. So what now ? .
Why should it be big news?

Obama declared ISIS the jv team. nothing to worry about unless you were a Christian in the middle east.
