Once again, you have selected alternative facts. ISIS was not Obama's doing, it goes way back before his time. Secondly, Trump did not destroy ISIS. The word "destroy" means GONE, and they are far from gone. Your boy has done zero to lessen their impact.
but but Trump! He scared them off with his rhetoric, ISIS can't handle shouty old men.
Frankly i don't recall any real policy changes from Trump other than telling the troops not to worry too much about accidentally killing civilians.... beyond that Trump has just been all talk.
Yes, collateral damage is always sad, but I bet you would like it a lot less if ISIS was killing OUR kids playing soccer in main street USA. There are no bombs built yet that will pick and choose who they are targeting. We didn't start or want this conflict, they came to our doors and brought it to us. We are just responding.
You must realize that the Left doesn't care about collateral damage to our side. Just ask Kate Steinle's family about that one.
When Obama took office the estimated number of ISIS operatives was somewhere around 50. Granted their resurgence was not completely his fault but he certainly made some very bad mistakes. The three primary ones were pulling troops out of Iraq, taking a hands off approach to internal affairs there and very poor choices in handling the Syria civil war early on before it devolved into a sectarian war. I think we can also add underestimating them.
The problem is, everyone thinks solving the ISIS problem is SOOOOO easy. It is not as simple as just a group of radicals, located in one region, it is complicated by the fact that individuals all over the world are somehow radicalized and brought onto their side. How do you stop a group that is worldwide and diverse in their nationalities ?
Trump made the statements that he had all the answers of how to stop them, and what has he accomplished ? Nothing. There have been numerous attacks on his watch, all around the world, and ISIS is not on the run. You would like to believe they are, but facts indicate differently.
I think this is a big mistake
The Islamic state can not be eliminated because it will appear differently and may appear in the Shiite side
Because the basic rule has not been eliminated
It is the teachings of the Islamic state and its source is the Koran

So you are saying that ISIS still has the caliphate and territory they had before the election.

While some things have changed for ISIS, they are adapting. Using social media and the internet more and more to recruit. They have always been very fluid and have the ability to reinvent themselves. Make no mistake about it, we haven't heard the last of ISIS.

Correct, seems some here do not actually know much about ISIS.

I remember the righties insisting Obama abide by the GWBush timeline for troop withdrawal from Iraq, in case you forget =
Quote:
in 2008 George W. Bush signed the U.S.–Iraq Status of Forces Agreement. It included a deadline of 31 December 2011, before which "all the United States Forces shall withdraw from all Iraqi territory".The last U.S. troops left Iraq on 18 December 2011, in accordance with this agreement.
Also the majority of Americans were in favor of troop withdrawal from Iraq.
As for the Syrian conflict ? i remember the right being anti Assad and wanting to back the rebels who it turned out was ISIS /
