Trump ally dismisses Rep. John Lewis:

I guess we are supposed to be outraged about this...apparently John Lewis is someone we are supposed to fall down before on our knees. But I'd never heard of him either until now.

Just goes to show that Trump, his allies, his supporters are so out of touch with what has happened in history and the civil rights movement. I wouldn't expect your ilk to be outraged. Too dumb for that.

Lewis was one of the "Big Six" leaders of groups who organized the 1963 March on Washington, played many key roles in the Civil Rights Movement and its actions to end legalized racial segregation in the United States.

I'm not at all surprised that anyone associated with or supportive of Trump has such little knowledge of history.

The Trumpskulls will just say that "it was the Democrats who assaulted John Lewis in Selma."

I both voted and agree with Trump on this....

John Lewis attempted to show him up by saying that he refused to go to the Civil Rights Museum because Trump was gonna be there...

Fine...his right....and Trump has every right not to acknowledge who he is or invite him to the white house for anything while he is President...

John Lewis made his bed on this one...

btw...I personally love it when Trump counter punches

John Lewis is a baby and hypocrite. Lewis was a very proactive member of the civil rights movement and those efforts should be recognized. However, he has built a career on them in politics and has done nothing noteworthy during his time in Congress. Lewis has used his relationship with King as a crutch and rode King's coattails to an elected position in which he has done next to nothing. If King had not been killed Lewis would have never emerged from his shadow. He slammed Sessions as racist numerous time during Session's confirmation hearing but, is shown walking arm and arm with him, smiling in lockstep at the anniversary of the civil rights movement march in Alabama last year. Lewis is a backstabbing racist. He will stab you in the back while smiling at you the entire time. Lewis uses people and when he doesn't get what he want's he walks away like a child who isn't getting his way screaming you're a racist the whole time.

It's not the 60s anymore. It's time to move on.
