one thing everyone is going to forget: This is the military we’re talking about, so your opinions need to take that in mind. For or against, one thing you must always consider - Changes to the effectiveness of a fighting force mean lives could be at stake. Do not just throw your views around willy-nilly with my loved one's head on the line, just because you want to be a righteous SJW. Even if I think you’re right, that’s nothing to play with.

I don't think transgenders OR gays should be allowed in the military. I was in the Navy. You live in very close quarters (berthing compartments are spaces of bunks, 3 high). I wouldn't want some gay guy that close to me where I sleep and change clothes, and I certainly wouldn't want them where I shower. Had that experience in art school, where gays would jump in the shower after you (lived at the YMCA as the school didn't have dorms) and attempt to get your attention. Disgusting! They would also slip notes under our doors, "For a good time, come to room ..." That's what gays do. They should NOT be in the military!
