Or cut off the section 8 and other leeches that are blowing up our tax base that lead to nothing good. Yet you still get to vote. Personal responsibility at a low, about to change.

we are internationally renowned for our hyper militarised nation. We have invaded, bombed, bullied our way through the last 80 years. We have military bases across the entire globe, we have a massive navy to ensure we can project our military anywhere on the planet. no non nuclear nation is safe from us.

Why do you think Kim wanted to get those nukes so badly? because the US has never attacked a nuclear armed nation! we have killed millions of poeple since WWII, and yet have hardly suffered a scratch. today we conduct wars will tiny death tolls on our side and huge numbers on our opponent's side. And just look how the USA reacted to a large terrorist attack on our soil? We invaded and bombed a whole bunch of people who had nothing at all to do with it. Why? well Americans needed to their "pound of flesh" but because it is the US, we went and got a few thousand tonnes of flesh....

Nope the USA is going down in history as a bunch of warmongers.

I thought ISIS was gone from Syria and Iraq. When are the refugees here and in Europe going back?

Somebody on Section 8 probably gets a few hundred dollars a month to rent.

Why don't you pick on the Defense Department with their $50,000 hammers or Trump's attack on Syria earlier this year that cost us $36 million dollars which resulted in nothing?

AngryTax Payer?

personal responsibility is not a one way street. We live in a winner takes all nation, in order for that to work you need to provide consolation prizes, otherwise why should anyone who loses continue to play by the rules?

I mean seriously have you not thought this through even for a minute? In order to have a reasonable society where one does not need to be combat ready at all times , you need to provide a reason for the "losers" to not knock over the board.
i could bang on for days explaining the massive flaw in your logic 1Angry, but ya know what you can figure it out if you just spent ten minutes thinking why it is better and cheaper to "buy off the bottom" than it is to pay less tax. serious just close your eyes and think about it for 10 mins and you should be able to understand. But it does require you set aside your anger, and use that powerful tool in your skull.

As Colin Powell said, we only asked for enough land to bury our dead.

What type of crack-pot reasoning is that? How many aircraft carriers or tanks have you paid for? I guess we can't afford them, either. Is this right-wing reasoning? Lol...

Where does it say in the Constitution that we must accept all the world's refugees, especially from terrorist countries where we can't vet the people?

Cool idea. Can we stop the corporate welfare, too? Or, how about we stick it to the red states who are, with only a few exceptions, net takers from the taxpayers vs. providers? It's a laugh watching right-wing hypocrites whine about "section 8" - which translates into "poor blacks" - while their states are objectively the economic leeches and welfare bums.

Notice the interesting match up with the sea of dark red "leeches" and the blood-red right-wing states. Funny to see who the actual "welfare bums" are.
