What you are also saying is that a woman should "always have a choice" to have a trivial abortion days before the due date due to the gender of the baby...and therefore it should be legal.

I think they've been clear. If the choices are absolute, then yes.

Fortunately reality isn't absolute.

I just need some clarification before I vote.
NO! When a FETUS become viable to live on its own, it is a baby.

The question uses the word FETUS.

I would not have one BUT it's not my business to tell a woman what to do with her body.

Not my business what a woman chooses to do. They are the ones who have to live with their decisions either way.

Of course not, women's reproductive choices should be made by old white men just like God intended.

I think they have been wishy washy and dodged questioning of their absolute position, because they don't want to directly say that someone should have the choice of getting a very late term abortion due to the gender of the baby.

Women should always have a choice, but doctors should have tough ethical standards that prevent them from making some choices.

Women should always have a choice, but I want to ignore my legal support for some choices, by claiming that no rational person would make that choice.

Oh well.

What are you expecting me to say? Women shouldn’t have a choice? All abortions should be banned? Not going to happen, sorry.

#1 You are misusing the word fetus.

Technically a fetus is from the age of about 2 months after contraception at the end of the embryo stage all the way up to birth when it is a baby.

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/fetus

#2 Do you mean when a fetus can live outside the womb? Even a newborn baby can't "live on its own."

Babies born at 22 weeks can now live outside the womb.

Finding That Babies Born at 22 Weeks Can Survive Could Change Abortion Debate

You seem to be arguing that you are fine with a fetus/baby getting aborted due to gender days before its due date.

I feel as if a fetus should have some government protections when it has the following:
-ability to feel pain
-brain waves
-memory
-ability to be born and live outside the womb

I understand wanting to protect the right of women to kill a fetus as it is inside their body, but seemingly at some point, you can't do that without causing a human (the fetus) pain.
