Many of the pro choice crowd feel third trimester abortions should have no restrictions.
I don't believe in third trimester abortions as an elective procedure.

Please clarify what you're saying here. If you "don't believe in third trimester abortions as an elective procedure", are you saying that you would support them as forced procedures? Surely not.

Then what do you mean?

In medical speak, elective simply means non-emergency. The vast majority of abortions, at all stages of pregnancy, are elective, meaning scheduled in advance.

Thanks for the clarification.

So the poster is essentially saying no choice in the third trimester? The only abortions allowed in the third trimester are spontaneous/naturally occurring?

I would really like to know something. Of the 86% who have voted in favor of allowing females the choice to abort, how many are male and how many are female? Of the females, how many of you actually had an abortion?

The problem is that most people who promote liberal ideas never actually had to live through what they are promoting so they don't know what it's like on the other side.

I didn't vote but I've had an abortion. I know you don't want to hear this but it really was no big deal. You don't have to experience something to be supportive of it.

So, you feel the government should place limitations on abortions. Good, you may be reasonable.

Glad to hear it.
Yes.

Other people here feel there should be zero restrictions.

Is that how you feel?

People, well honest people, can read the posts here and see exactly what has been said.

No. I think Roe v Wade struck the correct overall balance. I'd quibble with some states regulatory tinkering with that balance though, and also with their concerted efforts to make it difficult for women to get abortions. But that has nothing to do with the RvW standards themselves.
