Paul Ryan just said on Fox News that President Reagan's tax bill had an 18% approval rating before he signed it into law.

link to table proving RYAN is lying. Ryan lies a lot there are dozens of sites showing the real poll numbers at the time.

Tax cuts don't increase the debt; overspending does. Government revenue almost doubled after Reagan's two tax cuts.

The debt did not triple.

Congress spent, on average, 2.8% more than Reagan asked for.

Every balanced-budget Reagan submitted to Congress was declared DOA by (Democrat) Tip O'Neill.
