You may be concerned about your career and making money, but please do the right thing and report these incidents immediately not years later. It's best to get these scumbags fired or in jail before they do the same to other people.

You make it sound so easy. It's not. And in the past, the scumbags often haven't been the ones getting fired, nor have they gone to jail. Women have often lost more than a career.

Not that easy reporting sexual harassment to HR is in all reality not going to do a damn thing. HR's job is to protect the company in other words sweep it under the rug.

Then the question is , what is more important to you ? It is either a big enough deal (which it should be) to cause you to go to HR, call the police , whatever or not. Using the career excuse and bringing it to light 10, 20 , 30 years later just doesn't cut it.

Some women NEVER report sexual harassment/being raped at all they take it to their graves. Mostly because they feel that no one is going to believe them and that they should be ashamed of it. Like it's their fault some how.

And it's wrong and you know it is. It isn't their fault for the act happening, it is their fault for not saying anything.
