The Democrats are not angels either, ideally we would have a powerful Independent party. That said this generation of Republicans in Congress is disgusting; a bunch of out-of-touch old geezers looking to line their pockets

Yes, Maryland especially but Hogan has turned out to be a very good Governor.

The win in AL wasn't because there was new support for a Democrat.

600k is about the norm for the Democrat in AL, while 900k is the norm for the Republican.

This time, 300k Republicans stayed home and the Democrat squeaked out a razor thin victory.

Nothing has changed.

More to the point, who is on the bench for the Democrats?

Anything to offer the voters that hasn't been soundly rejected in recent elections?

Is hating white males suddenly going to become a winning policy position for Democrats?

It's not unusual for a (D) to win in Virginia and New Jersey. Those are both states Hillary won. Alabama is the only point to be made.

It can be said that it's only because Moore was a terrible candidate and while true, both parties seem intent on running terrible candidates for some reason. Any other (R) candidate in Alabama wins easily.

I'll not make any claims until I see who is running.

Well, we'll have to wait and see if Senator Jones votes his conscience.

Either way, he's gone in 2020.

We see through your bravado. You Trumpees put up a brave front and ignore all the failures this administration has had, but we also know you are not blind. The facts are so obvious that even the most supportive Trumpee can not ignore them.

This Alabama upset was VERY SIGNIFICANT, and says a lot about the health of the GOP under Herr Trump. If you add in Virginia and New Jersey, it shows that there is a movement to rebuff GOP candidates, and that is happening largely because people are sending a strong message to Trump.

Trump has had his ears clipped in this Alabama loss. He thought he would go in, as the Great White Hope, use his popularity with the Alabamians, and then be able to brag how he , and he alone, saved Roy Moore. Make no mistake about it, Trump IS NOT HAPPY about the outcome, and he now sees how unpopular he is..........even in places that he won a year ago.

Republican's have a justification to be concerned but when the opposition still thinks name calling is a valid position, they have less to be concerned over.

Grow up.

Would you like me to provide you with a long list of cute little names your side has come up with ? We certainly do not have an exclusive on that one, not by a country mile.
