yeah you keep telling yourself that a Democratic Senate win in a state that Trump won last year by almost 30 points, and where the Alabama GOP pretended that they didn't believe any of the accusations against Moore was just fine for the GOP, no problem at all. And btw, Jones won by 1.5% not less than a percentage point assuming you care about facts.
You take away the political attack on Moore with the rape accusation and he wins easy. Virginia was more troubling for the GOP.
Trump was behind Luther Strange in the primary, not Moore. He said Moore couldn't win if he won the primary. Trump stayed silent when the accusation against Moore came out (there was only one accusation that was criminal) to see what would happen. When it became clear there was no evidence of wrong doing, then he backed Moore, the GOP candidate in order to maintain a 52-48 majority in the senate.
Let me get this straight, you thought Trump was credible before this, but now you find him less credible? I can tell you this, no one who leans right cares.
hahahah... nooooo, I have NEVER thought trump was credible. Where did you get that idea? What I said was that trump shoulda kept his fingers to himself, and his mouth shut regarding moore.

Actually, we don't really know that. There was enough to hang moore with those who didn't really want to vote for him, even without the accusations. All the dems had to do was harp on his history and get out the vote. Which they did. Commendably. Run with what ya got!
Only in the fevered swamps of liberals' minds would a 1.5% win over an old coot like Moore be considered a "referendum on Trump."
Newsflash: This was a special election, and Alabama is Trump country. And Jones knows it, so it'll be interesting to see what he'll do--or won't do-- to keep that seat in 2018.

No... Don't fool yourself. This was a squeaker of a win over a pedophile. A PEDOPHILE !!!
This election win is not proof that the Democrats are back or that Trump is finished in Alabama.
