Here is a intriguing article by former federal prosecutor Andrew C McCarthy in the National Review. It's hard not to read this and wonder who was really colluding with who. Was the Hillary campaign really this devious? Was the Obama FBI complicit with the Hillary campaign?
And will we ever know?
From NR -
"The Clinton campaign generated the Steele dossier through lawyers who retained Fusion GPS. Fusion, in turn, hired Steele, a former British intelligence agent who had FBI contacts from prior collaborative investigations. The dossier was steered into the FBI’s hands as it began to be compiled in the summer of 2016. A Fusion Russia expert, Nellie Ohr, worked with Steele on Fusion’s anti-Trump research. She is the wife of Bruce Ohr, then the deputy associate attorney general — the top subordinate of Sally Yates, then Obama’s deputy attorney general (later acting AG). Ohr was a direct pipeline to Yates."
It's critical for the FBI and the DOJ to quit stonewalling and just tell the truth. It's almost 2018, enough with the lies and the liars. Get it out there and let's start cleaning this wound.
This is awfully confusing. For one, it was established that the oppositional research concerning Mr. Trump was initially paid for by a conservative group that was against Mr. Trump.
Yes, the Clinton campaign apparently took over the funding once Mr. Trump was nominated.
Now, we have had many threads claiming that nothing in the dossier is true. If nothing in it is true, then rejoice that the Clinton campaign got ripped off. If the dossier is true, then one should be aghast at what was revealed concerning Mr. Trump.
If a person starts threads complaining about the dossier, then it is reasonable to assume that they are afraid of what it contains.

Not necessarily. The dossier was part of the smear campaign against Trump.
Allegations and half truths so far.
And if the dossier was used as "evidence" to obtain a FISA warrant then our government really stepped over the line here.
3 different investigations by our government and none can verify the alleged crimes stated in the dossier.
Yes, meetings took place and it turns out that those meetings were arranged by people at GPS Fusion and meeting participants (the lawyer) were connected to GPS Fusion which makes it look more like a setup.
And neither Steele nor GPS Fusion will provide sources to our government investigations to verify the crimes listed in the dossier.
So we have a smear campaign dossier that's being used by our government as evidence/proof of crimes committed by Trump which cannot be verified. And this is over 1.5 years old now.
Anybody touching the Trump campaign is going to have to make a case that can withstand the Supreme court or the Senate.
Mueller is not an idiot. The right loved him before his latest job.
The smear campaign is coming from Trump tv.
