Obama made a true statement. After the election, he would have more flexibility.

In 2014, Obama demonstrated this flexibility with Executive Order 13661 imposing sanctions on Russia for their actions in the Ukraine.

Not sure why Rs keep bringing this up as it is weak sauce to begin with, plus it points out how Obama was most definitely not in league with the Russians.
Lest you forget..

Obama reneged on defensive missiles to Poland to please Putin

Obama showed political courage by not following up on the invisible red line he drew in the sand so he wouldn't upset putin.

Putin had Russian jets do flyovers near US ships and not a peep.

Obama defended Putin in a debate with mitt

Obama sold uranium to Putin and added an exemption for uranium to be exported

Obama let Putin get a foothold in the ME via Syria

Obama sat on his hands as the Iranian people rose up against the mullahs

Obama snoozed when Putin annexed Crimea. The sanctions were part of the deal with Putin to demonstrate political 'outrage', as Obama followed the old adage, 'too late to close the barn door after the horses are out of the barn'.

Obama knew Hillary was using devices that could easily be hacked and still allowed her to travel and expose classified date to our enemies, including Russia. Putin really appreciated that.

Obama allowed Russian hackers to have their way with government databases. Didn't make a peep until he tried to delegitimize Hillary's loss. then is a fit of outrage he told Putin in no uncertain terms, 'now cut that out'. Obama then shuffled some embassy folks around in a symbolic gesture. Obama allowed ISIS time to grow when he called then the jv team. A colossal mistake that set the middle east on fire and gave Russia a chance to move in. Moreover Obama financed the biggest exporter of terrorism in the middle east, Iran. Iran and NK and Putin have colluded to terrorize the world with nukes. Obama's ME mistakes are legion, from Iran to Libya to Yemen, to Syria, to Iraq. you would have to believe Obama was ISIS's inside man in their effort to destroy the world. Then WH spokesman tells us the world is a more tranquil place because of Obama's ME policies. Putin stand aside like a vulture waiting to dine on the roadkill Obama left behind.

Obama seamlessly cooperated with Putin to divide the country and weaken it. The dems hate and fear mongering campaign took up where Obama and putin left off.

Obama is Putin's useful idiot of the decade. hillart 2nd runnerup

As an Obama supporter, what was Obama referring to when he whispered to Medvedev to tell putin he'd have more flexibility after the election???????

And before Trump lovers get all upset, yes it is satire. But I wouldn't be surprised if it were to actually happen.
So a year later and still nothing on the now dead Russian meme.

It certainly didn't age well.

Trump still winning.

(what's the New Yorker saying about Trump these days?)

Trump’s more of an indentured servant to Putin than employee.

That's nothing, Trump armed the Ukraine with 210 anti-tank missiles.
Trump expelled 60 Russian diplomats.
Trump lashed Germany over Russia gas pipeline deal.
