The naivety of the answers of all posters - those on the right and the left - greatly concerns me. Russia’s number one political objective is to decrease America’s political influence no the world, which means the quality of life of every single person in America would decrease as well. So yeah, I’m going to say enemy. Arguably, the most significant enemy we have with the possible exception of China.

Remember how everyone laughed so hard at Mitt Romney when he said Russia is our biggest geopolitical threat. Mittens wasn't right about much but this one he nailed.

This.

I probably would not answer anyway, but the way this was asked made it impossible.

The answers to the poll don't go with the question.

I would say Russia is an enemy, but that does not mean that we could not work with them on matters like North Korea and ISIS, in which the continued existence of both is not in the interests of either nation.

Man, the logic of this poll makes my brain hurt. Is this a Russian troll that made this thread because the grammar is completely wrong?

'Is Russia a friend or enemy?'

'Yes or No?'

What in tarnation would 'yes' or 'no' refer too in this poll? That Russia is a friend or enemy? The appropriate poll choices for someone who knows English are 'friend' and 'enemy'. Me suspects a Putin troll on the clock.

Why would they be enemies? None of them are socialist or communist countries.

Try Cuba, China, Russia and Venezuela.

None of those countries are socialist. Read about it.
