Corker asks how real-estate provision ended up in tax bill | TheHill

He sent a letter to Hatch demanding to know how the bill got changed.

This guy is unreal. First he votes against the bill because it will raise the deficit. Then he says he will vote for this version, which will still raise the deficit. Then when he's questioned by a reporter he says he didn't know the provision, which would greatly benefit him personally, was in there because he hasn't read the bill.

LOL, he "sent a letter" like he couldn't just go see him? It would be funny if not so sad. Nearly all of them are corrupt lying POS.

I wish I could post that scene from the movie Casablanca, the "I'm shocked that gambling is going on in this establishment", all while receiving his cut of the money.

However, such is politics. Several Senators received special perks to sign on, while I'm sure a few others are jealous and wish they had threatened to vote 'nay' in order to get their special perk.

No one knows what's in the bill.

There will be some unintended consequences, good, bad and ugly.

2000 lobby firms employing more than 6000 lobbiests have had their hands in Tax Reform. Things get added and subtracted without disclosure.

The swamp is a revolving door.

How convenient. They put this in to get Corkers vote. What a crock. These Republicans will hand their first born over for money. Trump wants this win so bad, they don’t want us to know how bad this bill is..

The Republican Elite Tax Loophole Bill will be appearing in your country soon. Starring DJT and a cast of sellouts, it will clearly establish the Grand Canyon divide between the "Haves" and "Have Nots" in America. If you are not in the upper 1%, prepare to assume a submission position, and learn to love that you are Making America Great Again by your sacrifice.

Corker did not know the provision was added to benefit him because he didn't read the bill, but will now vote "Yes." Hmmmm.

It's a shame that we are allowing greedy adults to steal our children's future. And the beat goes on.
