Russia was bombing the rebel forces backed by the U.S. Trump decided to help his buddy Putin out by cutting off aid to the rebel forces.

President Trump's decision to cut off aid to anti-government rebels in Syria marks a victory for President Bashar Assad in his six-year civil war — as well as allies Russia and Iran — and a defeat for U.S. efforts to remove the Syrian dictator.

Trump has decided to end a covert CIA program under President Barack Obama to train moderate rebels to fight Assad, The Washington Post reported Wednesday.

The report comes two weeks after Trump met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Germany and after the United States and Russia announced a limited cease-fire in southeastern Syria that promised to end Syrian airstrikes on rebel-held areas there.

And yet this guy isn't a Russian puppet? Okay.

So instead of a stupid proxy war... we refocused on the actual real threat. It's not Syria...

Of course. It is amazing how much then President Obama had to overcome from George Bush's presidency; and how much he is responsible for President Trump's success.

Truly amazing.

Oh god you've brought facts into the conversation. The Trumplings aren't going to like that. They have a narrative to push you know. Shame on you!!!

Doesn't matter if YOU give him credit or not. Why do you think your opinion matters?

My opinion matters as much as your opinion. Think about it...

The same was the case for binLaden being gunned down... but you had no problem giving Obama credit for that - even though Bush started the process. All Obama did, after he was pulled from the golf course, was give an OK on the final operation.

Regardless - Obama put that whole operation of the war in the four corner offense and stalled the game.

If you say so. I'm not going to create the timeline of ISIS-controlled cities falling one by one, but the information is out there.

As for bin Laden, you would have gleefully nailed Obama to the wall if it had gone wrong, and you perfectly well know it.
