Thanks.......I haven't heard about any recent problems. I hope it's because he hasn't needed their services. He's been dealing with his PTSD outside of the V.A.

You really believe that?

With Obamacare you added millions onto cut rate low quality medicare type insurance. Added a much smaller amount on paid insurance. Raised premiums for millions and quickly most insurance companies quit the exchanges and added hundreds of billions in new taxes.

To the far left this is a government success.

To the rest of us its deplorable.

Weird topic.
The Engineer was an AMTRAC employee, he did not work for a private entity.

The only thing the government is genuinely good at is confiscating money and then wasting it.

The most popular healthcare program is also the one that has the lowest overhead cost: Medicare.

Medicare and Social Security are America's most loved government programs and the most successful, and have been for decades.

Healthcare was on a huge cost escalation spiral long before Obamacare. It started 30 years ago when Big Insurance became entrenched. It's Big Insurance, with their armies of clerks second-guessing your doctor and demanding piles of paperwork, that have screwed up healthcare in this country.

Medicare For All is the best solution to bring affordable healthcare to all Americans.

That is just a liberal lie. I could show many examples but here is one.

Medicare Administrative Costs Are Higher, Not Lower, Than for Private Insurance | The Heritage Foundation

You have to understand the government is never better at controlling costs than the private sector. The private sector fails to control costs they go bankrupt. The government fails to control costs they ask for more money. Which entity has the greatest motivation to control costs?

On top of that 10% of Medicare expenditures are fraud. $80 billion a year. That would not be tolerated in the private sector. But to the left cutting out waste fraud and abuse means cutting medicare. They want the waste to continue.

Once you accept that universal truth you won't keep claiming the nonsense that the government is better than (fill in the blanks) because inherently the government is never better than the private sector at anything.

Cuba, Venezuela and N. Korea are examples when the government is everything the citizens have nothing.

This is the guy that runs Amtrack

If he looks familiar it might be because you saw his photo in the magazines stuffed in the seat back on your Northwest Airlines/Delta Airlines flights for the past 16 years. He ran the show. Please cut the jive that the fellow calling the shots is some gubmint lackey who knows nothing about private enterprise.
