Not a single Democrat spoke out for this wonderful Christmas gift. Nor, a Happy and Prosperous New Year.

Not. Even. One. Zero. Nada. Zip.

And, in November of 2018-remember that no Democrat voted to give you a break.

Not. Even. One.

That should be more than enough to figure out what party is really the party of the working class.

I don't think there is much need for more IRS employees. If they've got the time to do what Louise Lerner was doing this shouldn't overwork them.

Oh sure, universal health care would solve the problem of high cost. It would be run by our government, which is well known for the keen ability to manage money well.

So far job growth during Obama's administration was better than under Trump's administration. We are at or near full employment, there are not enough people to fulfill the Trump's projections. This fact could have a dramatic affect on job creation that is required to offset the loss of tax revenue.

Between pushing for drilling in ANWR, gutting national monuments, trying to take people's healthcare away, gutting the EPA: I was a lifelong leaning-Republican voter until Trump came along and woke me up. Not one Republican will get a vote from me ever again. I don't care for the dems either for other reasons so looks like lots of write-ins and third party votes for me.

You are really comparing 10 months to 8 years?

Come on folks, how stupid can we be?

Just move the ones who were doing Obamacare penalties onto this. They should have nothing to do now anyways.

The labor participation rate is at 63%.
In 2000 it ran closer to 67%.
The last time it was this low was 1979. That was about the time women starting working in huge nombers; before that women were not really in the work force.

Your premise that there "are not enough people to fulfill Trump's projections" is wrong. There are plenty of people available and if good jobs appear they will re-enter the work force.

Nah....
You don't have to wait you can work it up yourself.

What you would pay without President Trumps tax reform: 2017 federal income tax calculator

What you would pay under President Trump's tax reform:Trump Tax Reform Calculator

I worked mine up and I am very middle class at an income of $78,000. Married filing jointly.

Without President Trump's tax reform:
Estimated Tax Analysis
Gross income $78,000
Qualified plan contributions -$0
Adjusted gross income=$78,000
Standard/Itemized deductions-$12,700
Personal exemptions-$8,100
Taxable income =$57,200
Tax liability before credits $7,648
Child tax credits -$0
Estimated tax liability=$7,648

With President Trump's tax reform:
Gross income
(subject to personal rates) $78,000
Taxable Pass-Through Income+$0
Qualified plan contributions -$0
Adjusted gross income=$78,000
Standard/Itemized deductions-$24,000
Taxable income=$54,000
Tax liability before credits
(includes taxes on pass-through income) $6,099
Child tax credits -$0
Family tax credits-$1,000
Estimated tax liability=$5,099

Looks to me like I will save $2,549 next year under President Trump's plan. If this is losing I sure would like to lose some more!
