We're taking names for what purpose- to punish them for voting against us? America's decisions can't be criticized? You're either with us or against us? That's a fine line to walk when you are dependent on other countries for trading and intelligence information.

They tried it with Germany and France in the lead up to the Iraq War, and it failed miserably. Germany and France are no worse for wear for opposing us, and the whole world can see it.
The United States has to literally BUY its friends. We’re in no position to threaten anyone because what we pay our friends for is to our benefit...not theirs. We want global hegemony; they don’t give a damn whether we have it or not. They should be smart enough to know that the United States is isn’t gonna cut off the money spigot no matter how they vote.
Someone in the UN should’ve just smacked Nikki Haley in the mouth and escorted her outta the place for acting like a schoolyard punk.
China has got to be loving this. All they have to do is play "sane and stable" to our crazy, and they win. They already have an opening in trade and climate change. It will be an interesting next few years, that's for sure.

We take money that could be used to help poor Americans and give it to the rich in foreign countries. That's how it usually ends up anyway.
