I suspect they send it in the spirit it is intended, akin to well wishes for you and those close to you.
The fact you have such a dismissive attitude says more about you than anything they could send.

I was raised to acknowledge the fact someone took the time to think of me, send me a message, spend money, and put in the effort to send it as the most important factor.
Thus any decent person should appreciate all the effort, regardless of your beliefs or dismissive view of them. After all, out of all the other billions of human beings on this planet who could not give a rats a$$ about your existence, you should be thankful a few take the time to send you a kind thought.

Sorry to hear that.

Are people actually behaving like Christians more than they did last year? Or are they just saying Merry Christmas more, but still acting like hypocrites.

All I want for Christmas 2018 is to not have to hear this bullsh*t. It ruins the spirit of the season. Say Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays...whatever you prefer. If there is a war on Christmas, Christmas has won. It's time to move on.

Omg, everyone says merry christmas. Happy holidays just incorporates the new year's holiday as well. Do you not know that. Why do some of you get so bent out of shape when someone says happy holidays.

And yet, a few days ago, when I mentioned the Bible to a fellow Christian on this forum, I had my head bitten off by Trump supporters. I also see people on this forum dissing Catholics and the Pope all the time. I won't even get into the bigotry and hatred towards fellow human beings expressed here regularly that few seem to object to but can hardly be termed Christian in nature.

Guess the "pro-Christian" thing only applies to certain types of Christians, and only if they also believe 100% of what the President is saying and doing.

Merry Christmas and best wishes for the new year. I sincerely wish EVERYONE the best, regardless of whether we agree about politics or religion!

You mean... Jesus wasn't born during Toyotathon?

Wow. The things you learn online...
