why would well fargo be hiring minimum wages people anyway? if they dont have any, they can claim what they want and do nothing. PR stunt
Wells Fargo has about 269,000 employees c
Wells Fargo Bank tellers make about $10.83/hr to start. It is uncompetitive with the wage paid by other big banks. They have about 6000 branches in 39 states.
The median base compensation of exempt employees at this bank is $65,000.
There are multiple active Federal and state investigations of Wells Fargo. It makes sense for them to flatter this administration.
Nah, you posted it because you wanted to troll and insinuate that the wage increase was in some remote way due to Trump's actions. You were probably one of the same people claiming minimum wage increases for low level employees would bankrupt companies.
Wells Fargo has been held responsible by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau which Trump and the GOP would like to disappear. Regulations are not anti-business.
It is hilarious. Right-wingers whine all day and night that any sort of wage increase or bonuses given out to the working class will "bankrupt big business."
Now, big business throws people a dog to make the pay-day loan tax plan look good, and suddenly right-wingers support pay raises and bonuses for the working class! The hypocrisy is hilarious!
Nope. Businesses new tax basis effects their business model. They can afford to offer bonuses and pay raises. It is what happens when people, businesses are allowed to keep more of the money they earn. They, not the government get to choose what to do with the money. There is no hypocrisy in that. Just your limited understanding about what happens when the government gets less, people and companies more.

Well, you are correct that I opposed minimum wage being forced on companies. Businesses have business models, that include profit targets, eps etc. The businesses have every right to set those targets and work toward them. With more money thanks to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act 2017 passing and about to be signed into law by President Trump, the people and businesses now get to decide what to do with more of their money.
