If you were paying $&k in Federal income taxes and continue paying $8k, and a person paying $1.4 million is now paying $1.2 million, how exactly is it hurting you?
Again, we are not hurting. This tax plan hurts the working poor and middle class. I never said it hurt us. It hurts me that republicans only care about the wealthy.

So, if another middle class family was paying $8k and is still paying $8k, how are they hurt?
How so? The Republicans are the ones allowing your family to decide where an additional $6,000 of your money goes (per your claims). Dems are the ones that refuse to give you that choice.
Oh sorry, I guess it's more like $52 a month. And you're right I'm not good at math. But our family will get more than $500 a month more. We don't need it. I would rather it go to the families who do need it. And you being condescending to me really doesn't work lol Thanks for trying though
Now you might just want to get a calculator to do the math. That's 5 0 0. The "X" key. 1 2 =
If memory serves me, you claimed your family was getting an extra $500 a month due to the tax cuts. Is that not correct?
Yes you are correct. Actually, this is the norm for where we live because it's very expensive. Teachers, cops and firefighters can't even live here because they can't afford it. We can barely afford it. We couldn't even afford to buy our own house these days.

Wait.... so you’re getting an extra $6000 per year while claiming it’s not helping you?
We do itemize our deductions. Might not be much savings for me. But people who are renting going to save a lot (there is no property tax, mortgage interest for them). It will put some pressure on home ownership. We might be better of taking standard deduction and pay up some more mortgage loan. Already refinanced to 15 years from 30 years which is a good thing. At least, obama care tax for few hundreds will go away. Is there any significant changes to brackets with income between 80k to 130k.

Let me see if I have this right...you couldn't afford to buy your own house "these days"...but you don't want a $6,000 increase to your income? Wouldn't an extra $6k make paying for your house just a little easier? Or wouldn't an extra $6,000 in the hands of one of those teachers, cops and firefighters help them afford a house?
